I think the rear end does hang out too much, and you can see the difference right there from previous models.

To me it's the way the tail light facia keeps tilting further and further towards the sky. The 5th gen was barely noticeable, but compared to the 4th gen you can see it. Now the 6th gen is just extreme, and I think that's what makes it seem like the ass is sticking out so much.
Soon the tail light will completely rotate so they face the sky.

hahah, it is, but those "white stripes" are the black gloss reflection/license plate
